Our Upcoming Nicaragua Mission Trips
RCC Yard Sale – September 23 | Rain Date, October 7th – more info coming soon.
Holy Yoga – Join us SATURDAYS and MONDAYS at 9:30AM for Gentle Holy Yoga. Holy Yoga is the intentional practice of connecting the entire being – body, mind, and spirit – with God. We practice with our minds and hearts set on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. This is a great way to make time for Scriptural Reflection while moving through a relaxing practice-working out life’s kinks! All adults/levels are welcome. No experience necessary – just wear comfy clothes and bring a mat/a blanket, a towel, and a water bottle. Come early to sign a waiver and get settled. Questions? Ask Mary firstname.lastname@example.org.
Knitting/Crocheting Ministry Meeting – every other Wednesday. No experience necessary! All abilities and skill levels welcome. The Knitting Ministry has been busy! 36 itsy-bitsy handmade caps have been set to Duke Hospital, for newborn preemies, and gift bags with hats, scarves, gloves and socks are ready for our Belarusian kids. You’re invited to help us make hats for the homeless shelter and ruffle scarves to sell at the yard sale in September. No experience necessary. Knit, crochet, or use a round loom. We’ve got the materials you need and an expert coach.
Open Door – Second Sunday of every month at Nantucket Grill : Ask, Seek, Knock – Jesus tells us in Matthew 7 that anyone who Asks receives; he who Seeks finds; and to him who Knocks, the door will be opened. After reading this passage, I felt called to start a Ministry called OPEN DOOR with the purpose of helping to build God’s Kingdom. Open Door meets for lunch the Second Sunday each month at Nantucket Grill following the Restoration church Service. Our door is open to visitors as well as members with the hope that getting to know new friends in a small group setting will help create the feeling of belonging when considering joining other small groups at Restoration. Men’s Breakfast Group – Tuesdays – 7am : This is a time of fellowship with the guys. The group meets at Big Ed’s in Quail Corners shopping center (5009 Falls of Neuse Road). Open to anyone! Contact Brad Starr: firstname.lastname@example.org
